<p>Guests at a baby shower are always expecting something delicious to eat. If you are up to the challenge it can be great fun to make a cake in the shape of a baby bottle or decorate a sheet cake to look like a baby crib.</p>
<p>If you love the idea of a cake but are not up to make a baby bottle or baby crib you can use this simple and easy recipe to make a delicious baby shower cupcakes.</p>
<p>Ingredients: cup sugar cup butter, at room temperature 2 eggs, at room temperature 1 tsp milk 1 cup cornstarch 1 tsp baking powder tsp vanilla Pink food colouring Blue food colouring White cake frosting A muffin pan lined with paper baking cups. Preheat oven to 375 F.</p>
<p>In a medium bowl combine butter and sugar. With and electric mixer beat together at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add in eggs one at a time, beating until combined. Next add the milk and cornstarch. Continue beating 4-5 minutes or until well blended. Add baking powder and vanilla and beat until well mixed.</p>
<p>Divide the cake batter into two small bowls. In one bowl add just enough pink food colouring to turn the batter pink. In the second bowl add just enough blue food colouring to turn the batter blue. Spoon batter into pre lined muffin tins. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean. When done remove from oven and cool completely.</p>
<p>For the Frosting. Divide the white frosting into two small bowls. Colour one bowl pink with food colouring and the second bowl blue. Ice the cupcakes with the corresponding frosting colour. Make: 24 cup cakes</p>
